Cosmelan®️ By Mesoestetic®️ (Mild Melasma)
Cosmelan® treatment by Mesoesthetic® for Mild Melasma is a professional skin lightening treatment that allows you to achieve desired skin tone evenness and at the same time helps to prevent future hyperpigmentation.
Each Cosmelan® treatment is performed by a fully trained and certified Cosmelan® provider. The total duration of treatment is six months, after which the skin resembles a silk canvas. In phase 1, melanin is reduced by natural exfoliation with micro-needling and an enzyme peel, allowing for effective lightening without scarring or damage.
Cosmelan® Phases
Phase 1
Intense Depigmentation helps reduce the appearance of spots by removing melanin deposits and stimulating the renewal of the skin’s first layers.
Phase 2
48 to 72 hours after using the mask, you need to complete the corrective phase of the method and regulate the overproduction of melanin.
Phase 3
In this phase, the focus will be on what caused the hyperpigmentation in the first place. This is done to ensure that it doesn’t come back and to help unify the skin tone.
Phase 4
During this phase, the treatment prevents the reappearance of the treated spots and the formation of new ones, which contributes to a more lasting result.

Frequently asked questions
At any time of the year, cosmelan® can be used, though it is advisable to do it at times when sun exposure is not so intense or prolonged, such as the winter and autumn. In case you live in a hot region or apply the treatment in the summer, you must take greater care and use a very high sunscreen, such as melan 130 pigment control.
The cosmelan® method comprises four phases: intensive depigmentation in Phase 1 and home-use treatments in Phases 2 through 4. The total duration of treatment is six months, after which the skin should resemble a silk canvas. In phase 1, melanin is reduced by natural exfoliation with the help of micro-needling and an enzyme peel, allowing for effective lightening without scarring or damage.
The most dramatic results come a few weeks after you have applied the mask at home. It improves skin texture and reduces discolouration. This initial success can give you a false sense of having conquered the problem for good. The reason for this is that during this period, melanin has been removed from the outermost skin layers, and the spot will appear much lighter and smoother. However, even after this period, melanocytes may continue to overproduce melanin because they have not yet been properly re-educated. To keep spots at bay, it is important to continue applying a mask that regulates production of melanin.
